Thaddeus Young joined Jrue Holiday, Andre Iguodala, Elton Brand and Spencer Hawes as the starters on the first day of 76ers’ training camp.
On the heels of Sixers coach Doug Collins saying he thinks second-year man Jrue Holiday can be one of the top five point guards in the NBA this season, teammate Andre Iguodala joined in the platitudes.
With a veteran coach they respect in Doug Collins and a roster they believe is much better than last year’s 27-55 record would seem to indicate, the Sixers’ players enter training camp quite optimistic.
