Um, yeah. As a precautionary measure Phillies team doctors at the direction of GM Ruben Amaro Jr. preformed an MRI which revealed Chase Utley has tendinitis in his right knee. So is this a cause for concern? In my opinion, yes, I really think so. Utely has been plagued with injury. Now I don’t think it’s fair to say that he is deteriorating like others have claimed. You can’t say that breaking his hand a few years ago was his fault, or that that fluke injury to his thumb in 2010 was the result of anything other then a freak accident, but Chase probably does push himself too hard and he’s now seeing the adverse effects of rigorous training. The good news is that it’s only February 28th and Opening Day is still about five weeks away. This is plenty of time for him to rehab and recover before the start if the regular season. WITHOUT GOOD SOLDIERS such as Tyhiem “Redz” Perrin, the Imhotep Charter basketball model would not work.
