I think in retrospect if the Eagles had known they'd be in contention this year (there was no reason to think they would), they wouldn't have traded Ertz. Such a useful option in tight spots.

Yeah, to be clear, my "What I think they'll do..." is in no way an endorsement or wish. I agree that plan sucks ass, whether it's trading for Kimbrel, Hader or whoever.
