Cubs tied
Marlins tied
Reds lost
Diamondbacks won and are inching closer to maybe skip using an ace this weekend

Seven-game winning streak

Only need a 1-3 finish to get to 90 wins.

Good speed from 1st to 3rd, or 2nd to home ... BUT he is a terrible base-stealer:

-- 4 for 8 in the majors (50%)

I really don't see what he brings to the playoff roster, besides baserunning (if he gets on) or having a good glove in the outfielder if someone gets hurt.

Re: 2023 Phillies Postseason News & Discussion

Diamondbacks win today to take firmer grip on the #2 spot and a trip to Philadelphia.

They are planning to start Gallen on Friday and Kelly on Saturday.

If so, those two would be in line to start Games 2 and 3 in Philadelphia, making Game 1 must-win for the Phillies.

2023 Phillies Postseason News & Discussion

Leading off, and little surprise:

Matt Gelb
@MattGelb
Zack Wheeler starts Game 1 on Tuesday. Aaron Nola has Game 2. Nola won’t pitch again this season. He’ll take the extra rest.

I would have to suspect Suarez gets Game 3, if needed.
