All of it? Bob Nightengale @BNightengale Padres starter Blake Snell, their scheduled Game 6 starter, on the #Phillies: ‘All of the pressure is on them. We know they don’t want to go to San Diego.’ There is pressure on both teams Snell is an idiot. Backs up against the wall and facing Wheeler. If th...

The forecast for the next 36 hours isn't the greatest either. Rain/drizzle and wind. Temp in the mid to low 40's.Christopher wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 9:37 pm MLB to determine whether Yankees-Guardians starts after 9 p.m. (due to rain) or PPD to tomorrow
(a PPD would really benefit Yankees' bullpen)

As much as the underdog narrative is cool, you can also make an argument that the Phillies and Padres were the NL's two biggest regular season underachievers, given their rosters & payrolls. Yes, like everyone they had major injuries. But they also got healthier at the right time, compared espe...

Also, certain fan bases and establishment writers will now treat us to a week of how the revamped playoff system is (tiny violin) unfair and bad for baseball, LOL. Eat it, suckers. Seems as though NY has a bit if a chafed tail. AIR the playoff system of the past gave the Phillies a rough time again...

Tough to have to congratulate Fletcher for doing the obvious but not re-signing Sanheim would be the dumbest thing to happen here in a long time.

The lineup is amazing with wasting chances-the squandered RISPs, Ks, GIDPs and the like. Look for an overhaul this off season. Hoskins, Segura and others probably will moved out. At least the club won't have to run around looking for bench players this off season. They have that covered internally.

Ersson looks like he's an NHL goaltender. He might be needed if Hart can't play for whatever reason. Grosenick is an AHL guy; gives up way too many rebounds in close. Wouldn't surprise me at all if we see Ersson and Sandstrom as the goalie tandem for games this season.

While Castellanos will hopefully add back in, I think it's time to be putting together the October lineup and see if it will click Stott, who has a .343 OBP since Aug. 1, should be the leadoff hitter. Stott Hoskins Harper Realmuto Schwarber Bohm Segura Right Fielder Marsh Might be the way to go for...
