My takeaway is Muncy making play after play at third base while Sosa boots everything.

Every game Sosa shows off how he blows in the field.

Schwarber looks helpless up there. And Sosa is a fake great fielder.

Turner again at ##2. Seriously ,Skip? How low can he go? I'm actually just as annoyed at the nostalgic return of Schwarbs to leadoff. Should have left Stott at lead-off and put Schwarber 5th. Thomsom must have a hard-on for Schwarber, to keep batting the K machine early in the line-up. Agreed. Wtf

It will be interesting to see the lineup for game 2. If Topper wants wants to maintain R/L then Harper may hit 3rd and Swarbs gets dropped behind Castillanos.

Smith, Porter, Branch, Torrance, Murphy available with 5 picks to go. One of those should be there for us.

Atlanta taking Bijon is such a loser organization pick. He will toil away in obscurity there.

Re: 2023 Eagles Offseason Discussion
Not that I am very worried about this now, but what happens in year 5 with his cap hit? I guess we are locked in to renegotiate his deal in year 4, right? Because year 5 is nuclear and he is never playing that year on this deal. I can imagine other teams like the Giants complaining about this struct...

Clock aside, when Nola is bad this is how it plays out. Solid for 4 or 5 innings before he bunches bad pitches and can't get that 3rd out. I might have guessed the pitch clock would have possibly helped him reverse this trend, but I would have been wrong.

So far so good for the rules changes in my opinion. It'd be nice if the clock would change behavior over the next few seasons so they could do away with it. Baseball should not have a clock.
