I like Schwarber a lot (think they should have picked him up last year to platoon with Cutch/be Cutch insurance) and have been asking for them to trade for Nicky C on like a yearly basis going back to when he was a prospect in rumored Hamels deals but getting them now when they're going to get big ...

I don't mind if they overpay for Schwarber, but I'll also only judge signing him in conjunction with whatever else they do, because LF/DH/emergency 1B does not give them the kind of positional flexibility of other potential signings.

Corey Knebel the perfect Phillies move, if the sign him: Get good press for a minor move that costs very little.
