Disagree..When you gets leadoff triple, down a run late, and your 2,3,4 hitters cannot even delivertherun,I’m sorry that’s choking under pressure. The DBacks and Giants are NOT better teams
The Phillies area out to go 1-5 against them.

Yes, absolutely, there is some choking happen in individual key situations, for sure.
But this team just isn't very good right now. It is not a team that can survive the combination of losing Wheeler/Dominguez + a lineup that has too much hot/cold, even with Harper. It's the pitching that gave the offense confidence, not vice versa. As the pitching has collapsed, this is not a lineup built to rise to the occasion in pressure situations.

(And even if team had come through in key at-bats, zero confidence in bullpen closing out 8th and 9th)

Agree,Chris…they have got to reconfigure this team next year..Cannot have so many strikeouts and such poor defense, and better pitching or they cannot compete with theMets and Braves, who are clearly a level up

I would settle for them being the fourth-best team in the NL, which will always get you to October. This year, they played like that for a while. I don't think they need a massive overhaul to get there, but a bold offseason is needed. The most moveable contract is Schwarber, though. Also, if they're not landing one of the All-Star FA shortstops, they need to bring Segura back.

I could live with Stott/Segura SS /2b. I try to move Hoskins and Schwarber and sign a 3b and LF

Hoskins is in the last year of his contract, right. They have to let him go. If they re sign him then Dombrowski is not serious about winning.

He has 1 more year but this is the offseason to trade him.

Also hate that the Mets are fun with the Diaz Timmy Trumpet thing

Hoskins is the one to go. Then move Schwarber to 1B; Castellanos to LF; Harper back to RF. That probably was a DD's plan all along.
What to do with Segura is a bigger question. Adding Turner to SS and putting Stott at 2B could be a nice move . However the cash spent on Turner would be costly. Segura has a lot to offer this club. Not so sure that I'd want to shed him. Might need the cash saved by not signing Turner used on SP instead. Sure hope that the trade to get Marsh for O'Hoppe doesn't resemble the trade that sent Sandberg to the Cubs for DeJesus. Marsh is a mess at the plate.
