This organization is an embarrassment and Fletcher is an assclown. That sumbitch had the nerve to say they became a "harder team to play against". They've actually become a team impossible to watch.

[Chuck Fletcher:
“Players like Nic Deslauriers are hard to find.”]
This fucker, here. Is he serious? A 31yo 4th liner?
Hard to find?
How is he better than NAK who just won a SC?

Dale Weise fucking sucked. A terrible player. Dale Weise also had 40 more career points than Deslauriers has in his career in 7 more games played.

The team as it is comprised will get run out of the rink on more than a few nights.
But, internally, no matter what they are saying in the media, maybe they've finally realized that a full rebuild is what's required. I agree with Chuck that he shouldn't give up more draft picks, especially first round picks, to bring in any players or move contracts. This team needs more young skilled guys that can hopefully be developed. Next season isn't going to be pretty. I haven't done any research but maybe there is more cap space opening up after this coming season with JVR coming off the books.

Problem is, I have no faith that this GM, management, or ownership is capable of a successful re-build, re-tool- or re-anything. All we have seen for the last number of years is total incompetence. What has happened to this once proud franchise is sickening.
Re: The Philadelphia Flyers' 2022 Offseason Thread
I don't think they think a full rebuild is required, I think they actually think these are good moves. If you think a full re-build is required you don't give Risto that lousy extension and if they came to that conclusion more recently then you don't give up 3 picks for the racist. These are the same types of moves Fletcher used to make with the Wild. He's just that bad of a GM.

They think the problems last year were injuries. This is dumb.
Re: The Philadelphia Flyers' 2022 Offseason Thread
Bobby Brink out 5 months with hip surgery. It’s almost comical at this point.

You Flyers fans ready for the upcoming season? Any expectations?
