If think it's possible for these feelings to exist simultaneously:
-- Pessimism about the Phillies and their glaring weaknesses. This team won't go anywhere in October.
-- Optimism that the Phillies can probably ride out their 3.5-game lead over the just-as-flawed Brewers

Maybe I'll feel differently in a week, but right now I think they'll squeak in, which honestly shouldn't be a titanic accomplishment in the world of THREE wild cards.
