As long as he's healthy, I'm not worried about Dominguez. He hasn't pitched this much in a long time. He could use an offseason, a.chance to rest and then build back for next year. He will be stronger next season.Christopher wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 8:24 pm Not knowing what you'll get from Dominguez in 2023 casts a huge pall over the offseason bullpen construction. I don't even know what they have to start with beyond Jose.

The only thing that we can hope, is that even though it wasn't pretty, that it relaxes them and they (assuming the games are played) prove Chris right and they get the sweep

I am. There's just too much injury history at this point. Counting on him as a Top 3 reliever is asking for trouble. If he's great and consistent, then it's a bonus because you can never have enough relievers. But at this point we need a closer & light-out setup guy in the offseason, to add to AlvaradoBelmontShore wrote: ↑Fri Sep 30, 2022 8:26 pmAs long as he's healthy, I'm not worried about Dominguez. Well, he's finishing the season healthy and after not pitching for 2 years, he was liable to spend a bit of time on the injured list. I'm counting him as a bullpen body, they need 7-8, so...
