How ironic with how the Phils won today - they had a 2 run lead in the 9th as well, but had 2 outs before the issues started, Cards had 1
And Jerry Martin should have been in left not the Bull?..And I was there with my 12,10,and 6 year olds
Fortunately,we were all there for Game 6 of the WS
This game was reminiscent of Game 5 in Houston in the NLCS..theManny Trillo,Del Unser game
You were there? wow - I was 9. I cried after the top of the 9th. Even with 2 WS wins - I still can't watch the highlights of that

Ozark was an idiot - should have been fired after the game

That was awesome that you were at game 6 in 80 - 08 was awesome, but 80 will always be the most special

It's quite an accomplishment to hit 46 HR, leading the league, and STILL only manage a 2.0 WAR. They'd have been nearly the same team with Moniak or Haseley in LF
Good god.
Does this mean I have make a stupid/angry post and then fall asleep in a grumpy nap EVERY playoff game this month?

Was working as an Ad exec at the biggest agency in Philly..One of my clients was Tastykake, one of the Phillies primary sponsors
.Between ‘76-83,probably saw 100 games at the Vet
Was fortunate to see all the 1980 NLCS home games, and all 6 games of the WS,including games 3,4,and 5 in KC. Games of a lifetime

Been watching myriad highlights. Jeans hit and marsh’s hit both should have been fielded. Cards choked.

In a playoff game featuring two rookie managers, the 59-year-old made fewer mistakes than the 36-year-old.

Schwarber, Harper, Hoskins, Castellanos a combined 0-for-15 ... and we score six runs.

Imagine if just 1 or 2 of those guys could put together a big day at the plate in this series.

Phils got a gift win - now they have to take advantage of it and win the series

Problem remains no one is hitting
