The win is what matters. Not our mental health.

Speak for yourself.

I'd like to maintain a bit of mental health. Thanks.

It's pretty fucked up that Bellati gets that win.

OK. Wow.
Not a fan of how Thomson managed that. But he had his reasons. The inning-ending K's by Suarez & Bellatti were the biggest outs of the game, because we never let the Braves back in it until the very end.
Thomson eventually got to Dominguez/Alvarado and WOW.

Eflin can't close any more. He has been shaky in all 3 appearances, but squeaked by. That won't continue.
Need to go with Dominguez or Alvarado to close, depending on who's up.
I would be OK with Eflin handling 7th or 8th against bottom of lineup. The BEST thing about him is that he doesn't lose his cool out there, which is not nothing.

epic weekend shaping up, unless they sweep, which is possible. I think Morton gets toasted on Friday. Zach's given up 6 ER in 20 innings vs. Braves this year.

It was an inadvisable high-wire act, but now that Thomson has a win in the bag, he can go for broke with Thor or Falter at some point and try to get another big step toward the NLCS

Even with Wheeler going, I always though Wright was the toughest matchup for us in this series. But he'll be in the same boat as Wheeler on sort rest in a potential Game 5. (I'm assuming they'd do Wright over Fried in Game 5, after today)

Let's not let it get to Game 5.

The biggest question is when Strider will appear in this series and in what capacity. Lights-out reliever? Game 4 starter?

Could not agree more. Thomson got lucky. Brogdon stinks. Eflin f cannot close any more.
