Just saw the replay of Hoskins' head first slide at home plate when Castellanos drove him in without a throw. What a dope.

RISP hitting will be the key today. We won't get many chances against Wright. Have to take advantage.
Also, I'm tired of all this small ball. How about some three-run homers.

RAIN is going to be a huge factor today.
It's very possible the game could start and then feature a long delay.
The weather is unpredictable, but Thomson has to try to be smart about this, with our ace's start at risk.

Delayed start time; start and then have a delay; postponement to Thursday ... all on the table.
If it's postponed, we have no chance at Wheeler for Game 5. Weekend would be a combination of Thor, Falter, Suarez.
Game 2, whenever it's played, is pretty much a must-win for the Phillies ...

That's the one -- total fail. He should take a sliding lesson from Trae Turner.

Jeff Israel
@JeffIsrael90
Update: if you look at Cobb County where the stadium is, instead of Atlanta, the weather between 5:15-8 looks pretty decent, and then it's isolated/scattered after 8pm at 30-62%. Probably safe to assume that they start later than 4:35 since the 3-5 pm is 100% chance of precipitation. Put if you can get a decent chance of no delays until the later innings, you could start Wheeler. But again a lot of the weather patterns could change the next few hours
