Maybe JG isn't as bad as some have made him out to be. He had a great game plan and once Burks was gone there was nothing they could do offensively.

No. He is.
Howie has moved to "Gannon proof" the defense. He has added so many weapons at DL, LB & DB that their talent carries them. Howie solved the rush defense with 2 DT signings. Howie solved the pass defense getting Bradbury and Johnson. He signed Reddick & White.
The other factor is the machine like offense that keeps pressure on the other team and makes them one dimensional. They get 2 scores down and have to pass.
Tannehill is a pedestrian QB who can easily be found in the pocket. The Titans have no WRs and lost their only decent threat early. They plugged up the run and covered their average WRs. Tannehill had to constantly hold the ball.
You keep trying to press this case. You can see the holes in Gannon's scheme on 3rd/4th and long situations.
As I've said, the concern will be when they face top tier QBs and WRs.

No team gets to 11-1 with a bottom tier DC. He's not the second coming of Jim Johnson, nor is he Juan Castillo. He has grown a lot as the season unfolded. This game he handled the 2 biggest issues the team had, 3rd downs and the rushing attack. He's frustrating at times, but the success supports him as more than you think he is.

Quinn placed on IR. I suppose that is retroactive so he is out for the next 3 weeks, I guess.
