My guess is that Lane has a sports hernia issue that started a few weeks ago and now has gotten worse

Don't know if he can play through it or not - but this could be crushing

Now that I have sobered up from yesterday and reading the posts clearly on here. You guys are all on point.

There was no Defensive adjustment. None. The 3rd and 30 was just inexcuseable. Even the few blitzes they ran left guys wide open.

Slay seems to have lost a step at least in this game. Not sure if it was him trying to do too much with Maddox going out.

When you turn the ball over against a good team they will get points. It is what it is.

In Watkins defense on the INT, he was all over him. Should've been a PI IMO...

Game was certainly not on Minshew, he should have never been in that position at the end. He played well.

Slay has not been the same since he took that shot on the 1st or 2nd play vs the Commanders. He came up to make a tackle and there was a huge impact. He wound up having to take a knee and take his helmet off. He has struggled ever since.

Next Gen Stats
@nextgenstats
[Dak Prescott earned a season-high 91 NGS passing score in Week 16.

Prescott completed all 24 of his passes against zone coverage for 300 yards & 3 TD, becoming the only player to earn a perfect 99 NGS passing score vs zone in a game since 2018.]

This is the reality and eventuality I've been talking about for 2 years with Gannon. Some among us wanna bow down to this dude because of stats vs mediocre competition. You have to be able to look beyond the superficial, you have to see the game and project what will happen going forward vs better QBs, better offenses.

24 for 24 for 300yds vs your base pass defense is a stunning failure of scheme, alignments and play calling. Prescott was 3 for 11 vs man. Gannon is woefully overmatched and his arrogance is insufferable. I hate to say I told you, many times, I warned this was coming. Dak Prescott is a good, not great QB with decent weapons and Gannon has zero answers and fewer adjustments.

Don't ever bring up counting stats to me again as a defense for Jonathan Gannon. Our only hope is some team is enamoured of him and gives him an HC job. For some reason, owner types just love dudes like Gannon.
