Shaddup Gannon!
One of the things that could tilt toward the Chiefs is intangibles. They felt disrespected by the Bengals and it fueled them.

In all fairness that was before the San Fran game.

Maddox back in the boot

Not good - Eagles need their best players in the secondary to even have a shot

Just precautionary. Helps promote healing.and any possibility of aggravating the injury.

How's everyone feeling at the start of the week.
I'm trying to stay guarded. There are no guarantees.

I know just two things:
-- This is almost certainly the best top-to-bottom roster in Eagles history
-- An outstanding football team is going to lose Sunday

Three biggest concerns:
-- Disparity in experience of the two coaching staffs; this includes adjusting teams to the weird flow of time in a Super Bowl, with so many long stoppages
-- Will Hurts be able to make the precision throws he'll need to make in big moments
-- Eagles have faced so little in-game adversity this season. How will they react if they fall 7 or 10 points behind? Will they stay the course?

Biggest advantage, by far:
-- Two incredible lines that also include guys who have been here before and won't fall prey to Super Bowl nerves. If they both do their jobs and crunch the Chiefs, I do believe that's about 60% of the battle right there. Everything else could just snap into place.

My concerns are simple

1) Mahomes shredding this defense as Dak did. Eagles really did not play much in the way of good QBS this year to use as a barometer
2) Hurts being effective passing, especially deep which he has not been the past 2 games

Eagles are not going to shut Mahomes down, but get a few stops to keep the score reasonable. Problem is that he takes very few sacks so the pass rush may not have the needed impact

I think that a lot of Eagles fans are way too optimistic about this game. Can the Eagles win? of course, but will need a Foles-esque performance from Hurts to have a chance

I don't believe the "good QB" thing. They played Daniel Jones twice and shredded him. Trevor Lawrence, Kirk Cousins, Jarred Goff, Ryan Tannehill, Brock Purdy who was supposed to be the second coming of Montana (Ok he got hurt), Aaron Rodgers. All of these QB's were on teams with winning records this year. Don't tell me they didn't play anyone good.

Dak shredded the Eagles cause they make mistakes. The offense make mistakes which led to Dallas scoring points.

I honestly don't think they needs a Foles-esque performance from Hurts. They need to stay the course as they have that got them here. Play mistake free ball. No turnovers.
