Really pleased and happy to see Kingery's success so far this spring. It's hard to tell if he's got a spot coming North. They may want him to play every day, but I could see him being a bench player with a clear role. Harrison doesn't help, Sosa's there, Kingery would have to be an INF/OF extra.

It really does seem to be down to Cave or Guthrie for that last spot. Guthrie's ONLY advantage is if they think he can play CF.

There seems be a lot of buzz that Phillies will trade for a backup CF for that last spot, sending all of Cave/Guthrie/Kingery to Triple-A. I think that's good for Kingery. He's need ABs. And if he want to prove to Phillies that he's worth a final shot, he'll hit at Triple-A and force the issue.
