Literally no positives to report from today's 6-2 loss.
Walker got roughed up.
Would like to see the starting pitchers getting a little sharper as the regular season looms.
Also, let's get those Team USA stars into the lineup and start scoring runs in bunches.

I hope they use some of the Triple-A arms aggressively, if only to conserve innings for the guys they'll need in the stretch run.
I promise I won't complain about any stinker outings by Plassmeyer, Sanchez, Vasquez in April and early May.
The other issue right now is that Nelson (who I don't even love) is hurt and unavailable to vacuum up innings. And Brogdon doesn't seem to be 100% yet.
Too late now, but couple flyers on journeyman arms over the winter wouldn't have hurt.
It's always a battle of attrition. We'll see how it goes.

The AAA and AA pitching they're using is routinely getting roughed up in the later innings. I was hoping to see a few more bright spots. Despite the occasional rough start, the offense has staked them to leads just to see the depth bullpen walk the bases loaded and get hit around, blowing leads.
Plenty of bright spots with the bats, not so much the arms.
