Clock aside, when Nola is bad this is how it plays out. Solid for 4 or 5 innings before he bunches bad pitches and can't get that 3rd out. I might have guessed the pitch clock would have possibly helped him reverse this trend, but I would have been wrong.

I'm just not sure he's a guy who can go three times through ANY order at this point. Of course there will be exceptions, but for the most part his failures around the 5th/6th are predictable.

I wonder if it will ever leak what the Phillies' best offseason offer was .... and how that compares to what he ultimately gets
