Just amazing how quickly they turned it around
Well, we still have to eventually pass 2 out of these 4, at bare minimum

Giants
Marlins
Dodgers/Diamondbacks
Brewers

If they're all legit, it's going to be a very tough road.

If 1 or 2 start to fade, if will be easier. But it's hard to point at the most likely fraud in that group right now. Maybe the Marlins (who've had a soft sked)?

Thomson talked about "every game in the division counts as 2"
I disagree.
We're not catching the Braves, and the Mets likely aren't catching us (they're too dysfunctional).

EVERY game counts the same, as we battle Giants, etc.

I didn't agree with Thomson using the full Soto/Alvarado/Kimbrel tonight. Of that group, probably now only Soto could go tomorrow, which is a problem. I would have held Kimbrel back tonight.

Agree with you on the bullpen use last night

I still expect the Padres to make a run for the WC.
