Yes,way too vulnerable to LHP as it is. 2 more this weekend. Turner,Realmuto,Castellanos and Bohm really have to step up,now more than ever

The other side of the coin is that you grab that best bat available (for the price) and just hope to holy-hell mash the ball in October.

Cardinals' Jordan Montgomery suffers hamstring injury, which complicates trade deadline. Teams won't get much look at him before deadline.

Actually, if the Mets do sell, the guy I think who is the best fit for us is Canha. Plays all three outfield spots, plus 1B. RH bat, but hits righties and lefties pretty equally.

If they win the next 2 and hit the Break 2 games under 500,They’ll be buyers.
By the way, they are now raking.

Pass. We're already too old.
Would be on the hook for 4/94 of Arenado's deal after this season.

I'd keep Bohm, but if you're looking to trade him, I'd put him in a package for a controllable younger starting pitcher.

Bohm is marginal - better than last year, but really not much better than Franco

Problem with trading him is then they need to find a 3B along with potentially replacing Hoskins (though I think he comes back if he wants a 1 year deal to re-establish his value)

I was just randomly checking out the Cardinals and learned that they traded Zac Gallen, Alacantara and others for Marcell Ozuna. Productive player but that’s some pitching talent given up.
