He is the worst hitter in the line-up and needs to be batting 9th

He is going to be an albatross for years.

Phils need to win the next 2, or they are going to lose at least 3 series in a row. We all know that they won't hit Gibson and the Orioles are going to score

100%. Heis maddening to watch ,on both sides of the ball. They have made a huge mistake. And why hasn’t Thomson moved him down and Stott up?
Thomson is not much of a thinker
For the same reason he keeps Schwarber at leadoff, when he should be hitting 5th or 6th. He's more about keeping the older vets happy, instead of doing what's better for the team. I like Turner and next year he may be better, but why not move him down in the lineup for the time being.

I’m sure his response for not moving Stott to 2nd and Turner down would be “ we don’t want 2 lefties back to back at the top of the lineup. Hey,Top,how bout if your current overpaid #2 has an OBP of .299 anOPs of 687 and your overachieving 2nd baseman has a .344 OBP.an OPS of 787 ,is a better 2 strike hitter ,and hits lefties better than Turner ?
Stott. vs LHP BA 320 OBP 374 13 K’s .786 OPS. …… Turner BA 219 OBP 299..OPS 703 27K’s
Further ,almost all Stott’s clutch stats ,I.e close and late,RISP are much better than Turner’s..
Oh,Stott has 16 SBs to Turner’s 21 in 65 fewer ABs

And ,finally ,in 65 fewer ABs Stott :9 homers 36 RBI,2.9WAR……Turner 10 Homers,34 RBI. 1.2 WAR
The defense rests, and Stott’s is also better than Turner’s
Trade Turner now,get rid of that albatross..To Anaheim ,with Schwarber for Ohtani
If not, then move Stott to 2nd,Turner to 7th
,What the hellare you waiting for? MAKE THE MOVE Thomson!
