If they can get that run game going, control the clock somehow and keep Brady off the field they have a shot.
Shut down Fournette. Brady is gonna do his thing no matter if you rush 4-6,8,or 10
Rush 12
With 6 guys in coverage
Hope that the refs don't notice...
Looks like the rain should be out of the area by kickoff, but winds in the low to mid 20MPH for the entire game...should make deep passes a real challenge.
I already figured TB would have 8 in the box to stop our running game, so I sure hope Nick has a good game plan to deal with the wind and the Bucs scheme
Eagles do not have a good pass rush - we all know that. With Sweat questionable, and against a real good ol, Brady is going to pick them apart. The Eagles blitz is usually ineffective and we all know Gannon is going to sit back, try to avoid big plays, and hope for a stop.
Much better DCs than him have been destroyed by Brady. So to expect the Eagles/Gannon to magically find a solution to limit Brady a little is highly unlikely.
Anything can happen, so hopefully they prove me wrong
As for the offense, supposedly the Bucs are weaker on the edge than up the middle. Run to Mailata/Dickinson's side and see what happens. My worry is if the Eagles fall behind early and Sirrianni panics and goes pass heavy
Hoping for the best, but 31-20 Bucs is my pick. If Hurts has a good game, even in a loss, that would be a nice thing to build on
[Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Buccaneers are not activating RB Leonard Fournette by today’s 4 pm deadline and he will not play Sunday vs. the Eagles, per source.]

This is spot on for me! I agree with 31-20. Unless the Eagles can control that clock better and keep Brady off the field, then they could win it.
[Defensive end Josh Sweat was admitted to the hospital Tuesday night and underwent an emergency procedure to address a life-threatening issue, the Philadelphia Eagles announced Sunday.
As a result, Sweat won't play in the team's wild-card game Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.]
