It figured that the Sixers would have a letdown after the big emotional win over the Celtics.

Fortunately, they rallied after a horrible 1st quarter and took control of the game in the 2nd half.

Not sure what Embiid was doing there taking a 3pt shot at the buzzer with the game well in the Sixers' favor, and then complaining after it was waved off.

Actually? Turns out he WAS thinking.

[The Pistons did not like that and said something to Embiid. The reigning MVP revealed they tried to fight him. The big fella was thinking about point differential in terms of tiebreakers for the tournament.

“The only thing I noticed was people trying to fight me because they don’t know the rules,” Embiid said after the win. “When it comes to the tournament, points matter. I wish that shot would have counted, and I actually didn’t know that they was trying to fight me. So I wish I would have seen that, but everything counts. It’s fun to challenge for something else on the team. Wherever that takes us, we’ll take it.”]

Not picking on you, Genn, but this really does display how people assume or project the worst onto Embiid and doubt him, 1st. Seems like he's one step ahead. Heady play. That last late layup by the Pistons cut into their point differential,.he tried to get it back.
