I'm not wasting any more High draft capital on Wide Receivers. Too many variables.

Build the Defense thru the draft.

I would go after Free Agent WR Allen Robinson from the Bears.

Birds will have the Cap space to sign Robinson to a 3 year deal.

The guy has shown He can be a # 1 Big receiver.

In 2019 and 2020 He averaged 100 catches and over 1,000 yards with Mitch Trubisky as the Bears starting QB.

He's 6'2" and 220, still young enough to play a few more years at that level as he'll only be 28 years old to start next season.

Pair him with Smith on the other side and have Watkins as the 3.

My only concern is that Allen Robinson is literally a Alshon clone...big possession receiver with no speed.

We already have a couple speed guys in Smith and Watkins. We need a big possession receiver who can make the contested catches and over the top red zone catches......... which JJ Whieside was supposed to be and we wasted a pic on.

Sounds like a plan. Pick up a free agent WR and use the draft on defense (CB, S, DT, DE) , an OLine (C, OG/OT).

I really dont want it to happen, but if we traded one of our first round picks this year, and we get a 1st round next year and another pick this year. What could we expect that pick to be??? 3rd round at worst 2nd round at best?

Each draft slot is assigned a number figure, Draft Capital.

The first pick in the draft is worth 3000 and the last pick is worth 1.

The Eagles 19th pick in the first round is worth 875 Points.

Say Miami wants to move up to 19th to grab a lineman. They need to offer the Eagles a minimum of the equivalent of 875 points the Birds pick is worth.

Miami's 1st round pick is the 26th ( from a trade with San Fran )

The 26th pick is worth 700 points, so Miami has to add at least their 3rd round pick, number 90 which is worth 140 points and their 5th round pick at number 143 which is worth 34.5 points. This gets them giving the Eagles 874.5 points back.

So Eagles would give up the 19th pick and get back the 26th, 90th and 143 pick.

Trading into the next years draft, teams can ask a lot more so for the Eagles to give up the 19th pick in this years draft for a 1st round pick next year, it all depends on where the next years team pick is likely to be.
If it's likely to be in the top 15 next year, and you're giving away the 19th in this draft, I'd expect maybe a mid 3rd round pick thrown in.

I think there is enough talent in this years draft that I want the Eagles to keep all 3 picks and take those impact players.

What about if they need a QB next draft. They may trade away a 1st round this year to get a 1st round next year.
