Marsh looked to be swinging for the fences there...leaves the bases loaded

Lost 11/15
1-5 homestand
Harper is just trying to pull everything and he probably needs to sit a game or two to get his head on straight. What a slump he is on (1 of last 30)
If they make the playoffs, you know this is how they will exit them. Team just goes through too many prolonged slumps and periods of poor play.

there's still two months so, not that concerned. we all knew theyd go through a slump.
long term, i mentioned this in the Hays thread, that game 6 and 7 should have necessitated an upgrade somewhere. schwarber, turner, harper, casty went 1-28 in those games. just two slump games in a series can cost you.
Maybe Hays is the guy.

Thats the problem. Half the lineup is in a slump and the other guys aren't able, or good enough to pull them out, and the guys who aren't really slumping are trying to do too much.sentinelhyder wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 9:20 pm there's still two months so, not that concerned. we all knew theyd go through a slump.

Honestly, I would have sat both Turner and Harper yesterday.
