The guys that are lurking in the shadows giving the Phils a nice start to todays game...Vierling and Segura with 2 run singles. This team has just so many dangerous hitters. Even if you hold down 4 of them, you still have another 5 that CAN hurt you.

Think of what we saw last year in some games 5-9 in the starting lineup

Anyone know what Brogdon's velocity was last ST? Today he is sitting at 92-93 with his FB...that is about 4-5 MPH less then his in season velocity.

Its not a popular opinion, but I would have never brought Odubel back. I would have given CF against RHP to Moniak or Haseley and then had Vierling play against LHP. My choice would have been Moniak. They would be hitting 9th, so if he struggled, then whatever. The Phils do have several CF options that could be available in the next couple of years.

They don't view Moniak as a CF for whatever reason. Joe said he was corner only last year. It's strange. Moniak blows ass but they were willing to play Jorge Bonifacio who hadn't played CF in 47 years last year. Hate Joe.
