Need to be seeing more Stott and Bohm and less Didi and Camargo.

Here is what is funny/extremely sad...this year we get the DH, but the players we have had bat 9th are giving as much or less than a pitcher would give you. There has been 1 hit out of the 9th hole in the order and that was a pinch hit single by Camargo. Vierling was unlucky early, but has done nothing since.
Last at bat of the spring robbed Moniak of an opportunity, he would have had to have been better what they are getting right now. You combine that with what Schwarber is NOT doing and man oh man you have some serious holes in this linuep.
Only 6 games, so tons of time to get things going, but they go to Miami next and face 3 pitchers that are very good and have good success against the Phillies.

Way too much hand wringing over 6 games
Zero issue with Camargo playing as long as it mainly taking away starts from Didi and Bohm
If Didi continues to suck others will get the opportunity, but we are always so quick to want to get rid of players
By June - would not surprise me if Camarago/Stott are getting most of the starts
Vierling will be back at AAA once Odubel & Moniak are back and then the 2 of them will battle for CF

Offense will be fine. Camargo and Didi suck, less of them more Bohm and Stott.

100% agree on more Bohm and Stott. Camargo is perfectly fine as your utility infielder. People who think you give up on Bohm, the 3rd overall pick are just crazy. What Joe is doing is creating issues IMO. Go with a standard lineup 5 out of 7 days a week. Have JT rest 1 day from catching and perhaps he is still the DH. I dont care who it is, the Phils must start getting production from CF. And with Schwarber, this was always my worry, he has had some horrendous years at the plate....Kevin Long was supposed to be his savior....but once again it is still early and a good game or 2 can really get this offense going....BUT IMO, Joe needs to stabilize this lineup better.

Bohm's looked decent at the plate so far too so agreed. Also I don't buy anyone saying it's for defense either because Didi is glued at SS.headclown wrote: ↑Wed Apr 13, 2022 11:43 pm100% agree on more Bohm and Stott.
