Good managers put their players in positions to thrive, Joe Girardi consistently puts his players in positions to fail.
This. All this.
He has no feel for the game, or his players, whatsoever. It's like he's detached from reality.
I really do believe Girardi has lost the team, already. And I'm gonna pinpoint the moment. It was his Game 3 lineup vs the As on that Sunday. That team had good feelings and a momentum o sweep the As and face the Mets, but he punted the chance at the sweep. From that Sunday, they have played listless baseba, except for that one comeback win.
