I saw a mock today with Stingley going 3rd

I can see a trade back. Howie likes to move and he's already started building capital for the '23 draft. A move with Pittsburgh or Green Bay makes sense as both could use players available at the 15th slot. A swap with either could come with a 2nd this year or a 2nd next year in some sort of package. I'd love to see the Birds somehow get an early 2nd in this draft as there'll be 1-2 really nice LBs lined up there.

I love Sauce. Not so big on Stingley. But neither will succeed unless you have a great pass rush. I don't care how great of a CB you are - if the QB's not pressured, even the best corners cannot cover a WR for over 4-5 seconds.

They also need a LT, so I could see Howie putting a package together including Dillard and pick 15. The question is, how much more would they have to include. Some have suggested giving up both 1st round picks for #6....fuck all that noise.

Eagles get
pick 6

Panthers get
pick 15
Dillard
pick 83
2023 3rd round pick

Wouldn't do it as Phtown said, not one player away - they need a lot
Do you see them getting all that they need with this draft? I don't. So do they target good building blocks if it means moving up? IOW is this a one year build up or do you get some this year and more next year? I think ot will take a couple years, so if they get what they want and only have 8 picks I am fine with that.

No - they will have to find a QB eventually even if they do improve in other areas, The draft is a crapshoot; rather take more swings at getting some talent

Listening to rumors one has to ask who do the eagles want more; Jordan Davis or Jameson Williams?

Or do you trade 18 & 51 for 13 take J Williams? Then hope Ravens don't tale J Davis @ 14 and pick him at 15?

I know we got great value for the trade, but damn I wish we still had 3 1st round picks. I believe in Hurts, so I know I am in the minority, but you could have gotten 2 defensive studs and a top notch WR.

Howie just needs to NOT reach. Think about it, almost every draft nightmare on this team is when they pick someone and we all say "who the fuck is that and why are we drafting him in the 1st round, that dude is a 3rd rounder"
