Good things happen why Rhys is hitting in the proper spot in the lineup

Matt Vierling has been objectively bad…except he has been just ok-mediocre against lefties.
Herrera is currently 4 for his last 20 with 7 K and 0 BB and has 3 PA against LHPs this year. And has 1 BB to 13 K overall.
Roman Quinn is batting .167/.231/.167, and is Roman Quinn.

Herrera is currently swinging at 50% of pitches out of zone, with a 66% contact rate. He is 67% and 95% for in zone.
The bad news is in the last week teams noticed and his in zone rate (37.7%) is 4% points below his career average (41.8%)

All of this to say that on a remotely normal team this would be fine, but they are about to over expose Herrera right at the time the league is exploiting him and he is about to be ice cold

Don't worry - Moniak will save the day next monthChristopher wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 9:36 pmit's harder to judge who would make a difference, given how many guys are struggling due to the deadball, Have to take a chance that someone acquired will bounce back with bat and be better than our trash, though the bar is super low.

My bar is at "doesn't hit women" so I'll take anyone.Christopher wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 9:36 pmit's harder to judge who would make a difference, given how many guys are struggling due to the deadball, Have to take a chance that someone acquired will bounce back with bat and be better than our trash, though the bar is super low.
