Dombrowski has shaken things up and it might pay off down the road, but I wonder what is possible to help this year's team. I can't remember the last time we heard from Dombrowski or even Fuld. They have to be looking for help, don't they?
What kind of help? If a Kevin Pillar aging veteran type is available for CF, maybe that's a small upgrade. They'll want to give Moniak a shot when he's healthy.

As far as anything more meaningful in a trade, I'd be really hesitant to deal anyone significant from the farm at this point.

Hoskins' OBP is .313, it was .315 when I wrote it.

If OBP is all that matters in a leadoff hitter, why is Hoskins still leading off with a .313 when Segura has a .343, Bohm has a .324 & Castellanos has a .325. That seems to fly in the face of this narrative you're pushing.

The offense continues to blow while a .313 OBP base clogger who only makes contact when it doesn't matter remains in the leadoff spot.
