Mets saw the Phillies defense at the start and went "Oh Ya, hold my beer" This is awesome.

He absolutely has to make plays defensively to be remotely worth his bat. He is simply not a great center fielder. Slightly above average.

This is nonsense.
He's made two mistakes but has otherwise played a stellar CF. He covers a tremendous amount of ground and makes hard plays look routine. There are some line drives he needs to better gauge his speed so he doesn't dive unnecessarily.

Have you been actually watching?
His bat has been improving significantly and he's only made 2 mistakes that are correctable with experience and an adjusted approach to line drives.
Talk about overreacting. Jeez

multiple plays that great ones make in the last two weeks. I watch every game. He is above average but not great and his bat is still not good by any metric.
