Really nice to see the offense break out, today, after the offensive struggles.

A very Mets ending to that game.

Back to the best record in MLB.
8.5-game lead over Braves for the moment

Strong win for the Phillies.
Suarez has a "bad" outing giving up 2 that raises his ERA. That's how crazy good he's been so far.

That's insane.
It's 1st week of June with an 8.5 game lead.
Scary thing? They haven't played their best offensive baseball, yet.

The Mets lead by NL East by 10.5 games in early June 2022.
Braves won the division.
Recent history should not be forgotten.

Braves struggling right now, and have no Acuna or Strider. But their GM will absolutely make a significant trade to bolster the offense. They have the possibility of being incredibly dangerous in October with lefties Fried & Sale atop the rotation (and there's no guarantee they bring Fried back, so they'll want to take their shot)
