They make some big plays on defense - but mediocre offenses continue to have multiple long drives against them

Losing Davis really hurts, but Washington really made that look too easy. The passive defense we seem to go into immediately after we score really needs to be fixed.

His alignments leave then vulnerable to the run, he's got poor gap fits and he won't get off that fucking soft zone. Once a team gets 2 1st downs they're going down the field on him.

He's too passive.

His alignments don't put players in position to make plays, especially his LBs.

Because his alignments are designed to keep the ball in front of them, they're just a little to far away to make a play when the ball arrives.
