Did not say his bat was good now, I said he's improving which is true. He's got a better BA than Schwarber, Castellanos and Pache from today's starting lineup.

He's a kid. He's allowed to make mistakes in his growth. He's not a finished product and you are overreacting to two mistakes of the same kind.

Good points all around in giving Rojas room to develop.

It should also be noted that there's not really a replacement for him without making a trade, which is a factor.

IF Rojas fails to make necessary progress, they could consider making a trade at the deadline. But they also have to weigh their biggest deadline need: To me, right now, biggest need is a high-leverage righty reliever.

Rojas looks good enough to let him develop. Philly teams (all of them) have a long sad history of dumping young players before they develop because none of them have any patience. Rojas is really good defensively, so lets let him develop his bat. He certainly isn't costing us games.

The options at this point would either be trading for a Kevin Pillar type or dealing a Top 10 (possibly Top 5) prospect for the kind of CF that you'd want to take into October.
