I'm taking credit for getting Morey to act

20 minutes after I wrote this, Morey matched.

@dmorey Daryl, listen, ok, you can't keep losing talent and getting nothing in return. You certainly can't be losing a developing player like Paul Reed to that former Celtic, Philly hating asshole, out there in Utah. This can't happen.

Match the damn offer.]

I'm so damn relieved. I really hope Nurse sees what we've seen and is preparing to move Reed to PF and turns him into the next Siakam. Rivers never let Reed have the confidence to use his entire bag and play his all around game. He can dribble better then he's shown, he has a midrange game and he can shoot 3s at a respectable level. He can certainly be a decent corner 3 threat.

He should be starting next to Embiid and if they could move Harden for LaVine, they'd have the requisite size and athleticism they need to compete.

How many times? How many?

For 2-3 years I've been talking about Reed becoming a Siakam type player at PF. This is the exact reason I wanted Nurse, for Reed and for Springer. Hell, we might even get a better Korkmaz with Nurse on board.

But back to Reed. Him starting at PF with Embiid and being freer to just play basketball could be huge for addressing the lack of size and athleticism with this roster.
