Not to defend Desai but they are being exploited with wide runs and then in pass zone.
They also can’t cover in man.
Has nothing to do with the LBing, it's the scheme. It's Desai and Sirianni because, by design, they wanna drop and keep the play in front of them waiting for a negative play. The LBs drop into zones, they and the CBs drop at the snap.ans make themselves susceptible to 3 step drop offense.

QBs facing the Eagles stay in 3 step drop mode.
Count 1 2 3 off the snap and the ball is out.
They don't care about going deep.

Too far off the LOS by the CBs.
Pitch and catch on 3rd and 9. Why are you 10yds off the LOS on 3rd and 9?

Also had a good chance to upgrade LB in the past draft, but still assign no value to it. Jury is still out on Dean because he can't stay on the field and when he was, he didn't really stand out.
