Pretty nice 1st Q, up 12 after 1.

35-23.

Scoring spread around nicely. Embiid gets off early, Batum bangs down some 3s. Maxey yet to make a mark.

Sixers completely shit the bed in the 2nd Q.

Just fucking ugly. Ridiculously bad defense.

Outscored 47-26 and trail at halftime.

Not sure why Morris gets 15 mins of playing time and Cov gets zero. Cov is way more defensively disruptive than Morris, who isn't enough of a scoring threat to justify his bad D.

Nice pass by Batum to hit the streaking Melton in stride for the easy breakaway layup.

Maxey with the 3pt dagger to give the Sixers a nine-point lead late in the 4th.

Sixers pull away late in a game that was closer than the final score indicates.

Some questionable decisions by Nurse:

Morris over Cov?
Bamba over Reed?
Springer now completely out of the rotation and glued to the bench?
Maxey playing too many minutes?

I'm of the belief that their thinking is to build Morris' trade value by playing him actual backup minutes. I think they know what they have in Covington and they want him around. If they give Morris nothing but DNP-CDs, then he has zero trade value. His 3pt shot mechanics look really good.
