The difference?

The Eagles and Seahawks got the same play. A sideline shot with 1v1 coverage and a safety over the top.

Love gets over and makes a play.on the ball in the air. He closed and got his hands on the ball. INT.

For the Eagles, Brown looks inside and had to flip his hips to get to the sideline, he is late, he can't get there. Catch by Metcalf.

Patricia, just like Desai, sat back, only rushed 4 with 6 blockers and let Lock sit comfortably in the pocket and deliver downfield. On that final drive, safeties were 25-30yds downfield and several catches happened in front of them, they were too far back to make a play on the ball.

The defense is just too passive.
The offense is just too passive.

You can't score only 17 points and expect to win.

There is such a huge difference between the scripted plays and the plays for the rest of games and it makes it clear that Johnson is a huge liability.

Honestly this season is done.

Sirianni gets next year, or I am making a move.

Giants have nothing to lose next week and everything to gain by showing up the Eagles on Christmas day. I fully expect them to play lights out and completely embarrass the Eagles. If the past 2 weeks didn't piss off our defense enough to play any better than they did tonight, then they have tuned out.

Ball on the 8, 1:53 left in the game.

Your defense can't give up a TD drive in 1:27.

Think about that. There were 26 secs left after the Seattle TD. That's unthinkable and unacceptable.

MP, if I could show you the All 22.of this game, you would pull out your hair. I already know what it's gonna show.

The scheme, alignment and positioning, is so bad, it's so passive, that it not only takes defenders out of position to make plays they could make, but it also robs them of their natural aggressiveness that keeps them from making plays.

The most troubling problem is that Sirianni won't see it. He won't adjust. He doesn't understand that Andy Reid showed how to attack this defense and Sirianni just will not recognize it and adjust.

Watch the safeties.
Watch how QBs take advantage of the soft coverage on the corners.
See how the LBs have no protection from the safeties and how it makes it hard for them to defend the run but also makes them susceptible to play action because they line up a bit deeper than is normal. The entire scheme is scared football. They are overly concerned by getting beat by chunk plays and overly concerned with getting chunk plays on offense.

I think Jalen is kind of broken.

But I blame that on the Brian Johnson + deciding not to hire a QB coach.

He has picked up some bad habits. Every decision until September 2024 has to be about getting Jalen right.

Also Jalen sounds uncharacteristically frustrated.

Said people have not been committed enough if I heard him right.

“People are not committed enough, including myself”

“People aren’t on the same page in how we prepare”

Yikes.

Weird from him, but totally get why he would be frustrated

Wanna know why I'm not blaming Hurts?

Go watch the Colts' offense. Seriously. Go watch the inventiveness, the creativity, the brilliance of Steichen's scheme, play calls and route trees. Then try to remember what that looked like for Hurts the past 2 years. Realize that the Eagles have better playmakers and a better QB than the Colts. This scheme is boring, predictable and unwatchable.

Oh. One other reason not to blame Hurts? That penalty on Kelce was brutal. That cost the Eagles 4pts and likely the game. Eagles were about to go up 14-0. That's probably game over. There was no reason to try to steal half a yard. They're always successful with the Shove.
