NFL Free Agency moves bonkers fast!

MLB never learns.

Holy cow, Eagles. Not messing around. This could be a really fun offense to watch next season.

The #Eagles’ reasoning for signing for Saquon Barkley, and spending more on the RB position than normal, is simple:

They think he’s worth it and will be the 3-down back they really haven’t had since LeSean McCoy.

Barkley can run, catch and block and the Eagles didn’t have a RB last season who consistently catch the ball and pick up blitzes on third down.

Actually not sure if I'm more excited about Huff or Barkley.

Of course, it all 100% depends on the coordinators now. As we learned so painfully.

Wow Howie & Co have been busy.

1. Resigning Dickerson to a new deal.
2. Signing DE Bryce Huff to a deal.
3. Signing RB Saquon Barkley to a deal.
4. Resigning DE Brandon Graham to a deal.

[Jets free-agent DE Bryce Huff is signing a three-year, $51.1 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles once free agency opens, per sources. The deal will make Huff the highest-paid non-QB undrafted free agent in NFL history, per sources.]

My goodness.

Needed these additions for the Eagles, as the NFC is getting a lot better.

We'll enter 2024 with Philly, San Francisco, Detroit and Green Bay all legitimate contenders to go to the Super Bowl. And then there's Dallas, which usually has its head stuck up its ass when it matters, but can win plenty in the regular season.

I'm glad they are making moves, but with incentives the Barkley contract is 3 years 46.75 million. That's really rich for a RB. I would much rather have Swift back, who is 25, on a 3 year 24 mill he signed in Chicago. Spend the extra money on defense, especially on fixing the secondary which is a disaster.

I hope I'm wrong on Barkley but I think they will be regretting this contract.

Reminds me of when Ricky Watters signed. Dynamic back who can play every down. As long as he doesn't alligator arm one in his first game.

Eagles have so many weapons they aren't going to lean on him every down either like the Giants did.

Have to guess Eagles go CB/LB in the draft if they are there at #22. Haven't paind much attention to who are the top players coming out so I can't say.

This move is a clear indication of trying to keep Jalen healthy. Rely more on the running game, less Tush push, etc.

Swift was a fun back, but not a workhorse. The Gainwell's of the world are a dime a dozen.

Excited to see what Barkley can do with the first premier offensive line in his career (including his PSU days).

Next go get Simmons or CJGJ
