There is zero excuse in 2024 to not have every spring game available to view. Hell. You can stream it with one camera running Facebook Live from behind the plate.

Sanchez picks up where he left off.

Incredibly efficient 2IP, only the one hit and a K with 19 pitches.

Turner doubles deep to score Castro.

1-0.

Gotta give it to Dombrowski by addressing a real shortcoming with the organization's OF prospects. He went outside the org to find a bunch of the same kind of guys with Marsh, 1st. But then to find Castro, Pache and Rojas really gave a speed/skill/depth boost to the position.

No one thought Marsh would ever hit and Kevin turned him into a helluva bat. It's not a guarantee the other 3 will have the same uptick, but at least it's possible. When the cupboard was bare, there was no chance. If two of those four are long term starters? I mean, wow.

Dombrowski might have turned the OF into a strength. That's not counting Castellanos or Schwarber, for that matter.

Winkelman is expressing mild concern that while Sanchez has added velocity, his pitches have also flattened out a bit. He's lost some of his vertical movement. Small sample size, but something to keep an eye on.
