Phillies bullpen should be very good this year.

Today is not that day.

Ya know, I wondered the entire spring whether or not the regular hitters and pitchers got enough work in to be ready to begin the regular season and it's really apparent they did NOT get enough work. Even the last week of ST, they were still using a ton of guys who didn't even have names on their backs.

Thomson didn't get them ready,.the bats sucked, even if it was Strider, they're doing worse vs the pen.

I said the same thing to a friend of mine. They gave Cave plenty of playing time and then traded him. Cave went 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs on Tuesday. Nice guy Thomson thinks these guys can just flip a switch and turn it on. Schwarber will need almost 2 months to get ready.

Some really ugly at bats, not even close to making contact.

The hitters looked overmatched. Only Bohm and Stott looked like they had a clue.
