I feel like the Phillies were the only ones who didn't regret it when it was announced. I know I regretted it.

Are you kidding me? Where the hell is the hook for this clown? Are they waiting until the Braves get to 10 in this inning?

At this point, let the 10 cent head get roughed up as long as possible.

So, who's feeling good about the Phillies this year? Time to queue up the old, tired, and familiar excuses - "It's early", "There's still 160 games left", "Just need some more at bats", etc. etc. Same shit every year.

Running it back with a team that has finished 14 games back the last 2 years is lol.

Alec Bohm continuing to bat behind Harper and Realmuto after the playoffs when they stopped pitching Harper is lol.

Best bullpen in baseball is lol.

Rob Thomson is lol

With his lack of velocity, Nola needs to pitch like Glavine and Maddux. Not that he has their talent, but what he does have, he doesn't maximize it with his location. He loses his arm angle and release point too often.

When he pushes the ball, it flattens out and looks like it's on a hitting tee. If he's gonna throw fastballs they need to be elevated above the belt or off the plate. That makes the change up work on the outer half. The curve needs to be bottom of the zone. He might need to lose the slider because he catches too much of the plate.

Also, I'm not sure Realmuto is the right catcher for him, he doesn't seem to have a feel for pitch sequencing for Nola.
