Looks like Gardner Minshew will start this Sunday against the Jets. Going to be interesting to see how Minshew plays.

Kenny Pickett looks like a a real QB prospect. Havent seen much of the other top ranked college QBs but I have a hard time imagining they are much better than Pickett.

There seems to be a growing sentiment that the Eagles might be considering moving some of their 1st round picks to next year.
Very risky proposition, you are risking draft position and potentially passing on big needs.
However, if you are trading picks that are potentially in the top 15, you could ask for a 1 next year and perhaps a 3 and 5 this year. If Howie were to do that twice this year lets say, he could parlay the extra picks this year into moving up in the 2nd or 3rd round for specific needs or simply stock up on positions of need.
This also would theoretically give Jalen another full year and full available cap to see what he does with better talent around him. As we all know, the Eagles have a MAJOR hole in the receiving corp and could greatly benefit from a veteran star receiver. The Carson cap hit is no small thing, that is 2 or more very good players the Eagles dont have due to that dead cap hit. Next year, they should be flush with cap space and should be able to fill their holes.

Sounds like a plan to me. Howie has a history of wheeling and dealing with draft picks. He did a good job last draft considering we came away Devonta Smith and Miami's first rounder in 2022.

We will really get to see if the Eagles believe in Reagor and if he can deliver. Watkins is out of this game and Washington plays a ton of zone. Reagor must have the best game of his career on Sunday...Obviously the running game with still be parimount, but with Devonte Smith hampered with his elbow, Reagor must produce...it is that simple

Yeah it is either do or die for Reagor. Looks like the Eagles will need to spend a higher 1st thru 3rd pick on a WR.

You have to wonder about this situation with Jalen Hurts and his ankle. It would make since to keep his trade value up
by just saying he is injured instead of an all out benching to let Gardner Minshew play another game.

10 bold predictions for the rest of this Eagles season
https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/10 ... hp&pc=U531

Interesting predictions. The full blown QB will come if Jalen Hurts cant make it back for the Washington game.
Minshew will play well and get another win against a depleted Washington team.

I can see the Cox scenario going down. His salary and production can no longer be justified. The Eagles will definitely have to
take a major cap hit is the only thing I see stopping this.

TJ Edwards has made some plays be he has to make more to get the early round draft talk to stop.
If TJ Edwards can make more plays he will be good find as undrafted FA pickup.

Looks like the Eagles will get the Colts first round pick. Looking like the Colts will make the playoffs.
The Colts beat the Patriots decisively. Looks like none of these picks will be in the top 10. I am thinking
the Eagles will trade at least one of those 1st round picks away for a future first round. Kudos to Howie for
setting this up , now hopefully he can get these picks right.
