This team is the Bad News Bears.
What in the fuck is Provorov doing behind his own net? Why is he exposing the puck to the inside, throwing a pass?
4-3, Caps, now an EN goal and it's 5-3.
Brutally dumb, unnecessary, ill-conceived play by Provorov.

I’ll be surprised if Provorov is with the club after the summer. It’s obvious that Sanheim is the top defender on the club. The defense needs to be built around him on the top pair.

This would be a massive mistake.
The stagnation of Provorov is a direct indictment of the Flyers' inability to fully develop their talent, be they defensemen or forwards. Too many of their young players struggle at that next stage of development, the team gets frustrated and they ship them off only to watch them blossom on new teams. This just happened with NAK with the Avs.
They need to figure out how to unlock Provorov.
