I'm not sure how I feel about it.

I see Risto making too many mistakes, but they paid so much to get him they can't just let him walk. And a 5m hit per isn't all that expensive.

Andrew MacDonald 2.0. This is why this team will never go anywhere. Gotta pay a bottom pairing at best guy 5 million over 5 years because of sunk cost and because "he hits people" when you should be rebuilding and trading guys like Risto for whatever you can get. Fletcher is one of the worst GMs in the league.

If the projections were true, (feel free to take with a grain of salt), I would have happily taken the 1st round pick from the team who wanted him as a TDL rental.
