Mid- season Nola. 3 run homer to Yankee sub..He looks awful

I think the Phillies have been keeping their eye on Sean Manaea, who would only be a one-year rental.

Nola pitching like a #4 would be very rough, but not fatal, to this team's chances. Suarez, Eflin and Gibson all have the ability to basically be #3-level starters. If one of them exceeds expectations and/or if you trade for Manaea, this can still be a good staff, especially with the offense. It really gives you no wiggle room, though, in needing Wheeler to be the ace.

Bohm plus prospect for Manea? First series next weekend?

I'm just amazed at how his failures are so consistent. It's the same thing every single game.

Lots of sloppy middle-middle hangers and fat fastballs. .Hope it’s just early and experimenting,but looks so much like the last 2 years..

I wouldn't trade for Manaea yet, unless Oakland forces the issue and says it's taking final offers right now. Lot of teams will be interested
