Predict whatever you want for MLB: division winners, World Series, awards, trades....

I'll start:

AL Division winners: Blue Jays, White Sox, Astros
AL wild cards: Rays, Yankees, Rangers
NL Division winners: Braves, Cardinals, Dodgers
NL wild cards: Padres, Phillies, Brewers
World Series: Dodgers over Blue Jays

Mariners instead of the Rangers
Giants instead of the Phils

Phillies certainly have more upside then they have had in 10+ years, but I am worried that their starting pitching is going to be a disaster and keep them around 80 wins

Phillies will have 89+ wins this year. Offense will score over 800 runs and will hit 240+HRs. Baring major injuries the Phillies will make the playoffs.

Fangraphs projections have them at 83 which seems pretty fair to me.

Mariners instead of the Rangers
Mariners were my last team out when I was picking wild cards and went with the Rangers.
AL West is going to be really interesting this year.
Astros should still be the class of the division, but Rangers & Mariners have gone all in.
Angels aren't terrible, but they still don't have enough around Trout & Ohtani.
Athletics should lose 100, hopefully starting with the first 3.

I agree with that.

Yeah Phils are gonna crush the ball, but their pitching is only going to get them so far. Not to mention they are one injury away from mediocrity.

I call bullshit to some of you guys. This team is a million times better then last years team that won 82 games and you are saying 80 or 83??? Why are you fans of this team??? Go to SF and love on Gabe. This is a Phillies board and all your bitching about how cheap the Phils are....where you at now??? So STFU.

It's just predictions, not positivity or negativity. Of course we're rooting for them.

It's a better team, yes, and they absolutely should make the playoffs, but the NL is full of good teams.

The key factor in this team being "good" or "very good" IMO is Nola. If he pitches like a #2, then I think the rotation is a strength. The good news is that, because they used FA to fill their holes, they're in a position to trade for a starting pitcher this summer if/when the need the arises. That will be the final piece.
